The University Symphony orchestra
w ill play its *second program of the
season on Monday evening at 8:00
o'clock,.in High School hail. The ex-'
cellent performance at the previous,
concert in November, and the added
finish given by the intervening prac-
tice give promise of a delightful even-
ing on Monday., Samuel Lockwood
will direct.
The program offers: several unusual
numbers. Mozart's sparkling , over-
ture to a little known comedy. "The
Theatrical Manager," will open the
program; and as each of the soloists is
to play a concerto, there will be but
one other purely orchestral number,
the serenade' for strings of Elgar.
The soloists will be Miss Marian
Struble and Harrison Stevens, both of
whom have appeared many times. The
entire program is as follows:

Vorspiel-adagio; Finale
Serenade for Strings, Op. 20 .. .. Elgar

George' Wahr has just published the
first article of a series dealing with
Martin Luthr's use of the pre-Lu-
theran ,versions of the Bible. The
booklet has been prepared by Prof.
W, W. Florer of the German depart-
ment.
