W. C. Mullendore, '14, was taken ill
iith diplhtheria Thursday afternoon.;
Dr. H. ll Cmngs, who is In charge
of the University Health Service, at-1
tended him today, and administered
aniti-toxin. A culture w. taken and
the case was pronounced a mild one.
Mullendore was quarantined at his
home 1315 hill street, and' the only
three students who were exposed were
all given anti-toxin. It is not known
where he contracted the disease asI
there are no other casesnreported in
the city. Doctor Cummings stated
that there is no danger of a spread
of the disease.

plan formulated by the student coun-
cil, providing for an undergraduate
manager has been discarded, and an
arrangement made more in accordance
with the scheme submitted by Ike
Fisher.
In spite of the fact that no official
settlement has yet been made Direc-
tor Bartehne has promised a uniform
band for today's game.
