CRICKET PLAYERS
TO STAGE GAMES
Enough cricket enthusiasts showed
up at the meeting, held at the athletic
association on~ce yesterday afternoon,
to warrant the institution of that pas-
time as one of the minor sports among
Michigan students.
W. S. James, '15D, was elected man-
ager and with Director Rowe will pur-
chase the accessories to the sport. A
cricket pitch wil be laid out on south
Ferry field and will be the scene of
match games betwen different teams
to be organized among the men who
come out for the sport.
After the season is started, if the
teams show form it Is hoped that gam-'
es can be arranged with some of the
teams in Detroit. There is also a pos-
sibility that a match can be fixed up
with some Canadian team...
