The "small-town nose" has become
a Milchigan institution, if we are to ac-
cept the teachings of a well dofined
camnpus coterie.
Soine of our Imaginative friends
have actually conceived the mile ston-
es that herald the appeara nce and-rap-
id growth of the small1-tow n nose. On
first introduction_ to the camputs the
nose is perfectl y 1unsophisticated-_-j ust

gram, Cluck's "Caprice' Alceste," a
fantasie and fugue in G innor by
Bach, and Beethoven's 1,2 y~ritlons,

poem it should be. Admirable, too,
were Mrs. BRhead's efforts in several
