mcnt, letters are being sent out today
notifyin,- candidates of their appoint-
mnent to the U~niversity band for 1114.
These letters are the official announce-
ments of appointment to reg~ilar m-emi-
bership, and , are only sent out after
careful consideration, of the eligibility
of each candidate. For services render-
ed, each member will receive an hon-
orarium of twenty-five dollars, grant-
ed by the regents, plus any money
which may be due from the athletic as-
sociation. They are abliged to serve
at all athletic events, including indoor
track meets and spring baseball gain-
