Want Ad Stations,

We are in a position to extend sym-
pathy to the others who acknowledge
the recent receipt of a pair of slippers,
a calendar, and a Christmas card. The
discovery that there are many such re-
ninds us that we are fallen in troub-
ions time.
May wve hasten to remind those who
Brow cedar chests of perfectos that we
slid not "swe ar off" the consumption of
nicotine.
To those who hay-(e recently made
their anual ;ascent to the rostrum of
the aqua puira cart %ve recommend ce-
mient, a g-,oodly supply of butter'milk
and continued catarrh that will prevent
the entrance of seductive odors
If we could forget about the turkey
that was we night be able to manage
'he offerings of thae monarch of the
range.

ItU is ;at once our- progative and da-
,y to wish to our readers, friendly and
otherw ise, our fellow toilers on the
more or less eveitful road to infoirma-
boon and g°raduation, a, "Happy New
Year." That we have discovered, no
new form in which to express the time
oid salutation does not mean that it is
anly the less sincere or thlat we- do not
voice the formulda with new enthusi-
asmls, voicedl as we fit a new, calendar
pad on the same oild japanned stand
and take a fre-sh start, To us onl the
campus the :school year overshadows
the calendar div-isions and our retuarn
hither is marked, by little chang e other
than the effort to remember to write
it 1912.
Never theless it is a new year, one
that will last past the impending trials
that are arranged to attend our escape
