At the request of Governor Osborn,
President Hutchins,. President Snyder
of M. A. C., and President McNair of
the Michigan School of Mines at
Houghton, will hold a meeting next
Wednesday at the, Pontchiartrain, De-
troit. A study of the matter of dupli-
cation of courses, is the purpose of
the conference. It is not known in
just what way the work of any of the
three institutions ruay duplicate that of
another, nor is it certain that any such
repetitions do exist, so that what the
meeting will accomplish or what will
be the result is impossible to predict.
