With lMlitlncsota absent from the

The trophy currently belongs to the
Spartans.
Last season Michigan State beat the
WVolverines in East Lansing. 34-31,
giving then-No.3 Michigan its first

Its hard to forget that game or tw\o

and Bill Burke. The quartetback-wide
receiver duo combined for 235 reedy=-

had 400 total passing y ards.
But neither of those Spartans are
back this season. Instead, the
Spartans hav e had similar problems

position.

As long periods of laugh-less MIkB
silence passed, I started to feel
sorry for Tim Meadow is, who stars Cs
as smooth-talking ladies man Leon
Phelps, because after toiling as "the
black guy" on SNL for like 10
years, you'd like to see him find
some success, right'? But then I
remembered that Meadows co-
wrote the script, so he really has no
one to blame for its "Night at the
Roxbury" level of ineptitude but
himself.
This film has all the quality of a t
bus station skank.
