Coastal Tug and Barge.
A tugboat essentially has two jobs: moving ships
(otherwise known as "traffic") through the harbor, and
rescuing ships stranded at sea. Once the ship arrives
near the port, a tugboat or many tugboats are used to
push or pull the ship to its docking space. The tugboat
also moves oil barges to the ships, to provide them with
fuel. This photostory depicts a day at sea with Captain
Bill and the crew of the Coastal Miami tugboat.

the meantime, he takes in a glimpse
of the Miami skyline before sunrise.
*The Coastal Miami seems dwarfed

*Captain Bill sits at the helm of the
Coastal Miami, as he has with tug-
boats for more than 30 years. *Life
on a tugboat can be very busy;
Sometimes it is necessary to eat the
well-cooked dinners quickly.
