The 2nd annual Motor City Tattoo Expo brought many artists and spectators to the Royce Hotel in Romulus
this weekend. Tattoo Artists from as far away as Panama and Japan gathered to partake in the world's second-
largest tattoo expo. David Simon, from Wonderland Tattoo in St. Claire Shores, and Tramp Welker, from
Eternal Tattoo in Livonia, hosted this year's event, which was composed of 70 artists occupying 34 booths.
This year's expo was a success, giving people a chance to view award-winning artists at their
best as well as helping fans add to their tattoo collections.

Patrick Allen, from Redford Township, displays a gorilla tattoo that took artist
Tom Renshaw of Eternal Tattoos eight hours to complete. The tattoo won 2nd
place in the "Black and Gray" catagory.
