the best prices in town, as well in-
store concerts and the listening
booth.
Used Records: Wazoo
Wazoo' s aisles are toooo narrow,
making it tough to flip through the
bins for those classic, and oh-so-not-

pricey used treasures. Good deals on
trades. Cool staff who knows a lot
about various musical genres.
Men's Clothing: GAP
Question: Why pay $65 for a pair of
jeans at Urban Outfitters, when you
can get 'em at the GAP for $20? The

tried and true beats the tired and
trendy every time.
Women's Clothing: Urban
Outfitters
Pay inflated prices for clothes ev-
eryone else has, and will be out of
style in less than a week. Blush from
embarrassment when the door alarm
goes off (which it always does).
Seethe with anger as you, your bag,
your mom, and any orifice they can
get their pretentious little hands on,
is searched in front of everyone.
Vow never to return. (Go to Splash

instead).
Books: Borders
Textbooks: Ulrich's
Used Books: Dawn Treader
Borders is a soothing haven for any
intellectual snob. Its fiction is up-to-
the-minute, hip and glossy. It has
magazines in foreign languages, and
sections that cater to many sub-
cultures. If you can afford the
behemoth prices, go, consulting your
New York Times Book Review.
