Modern, graceful, tubular design has specially
engineered legs that minimize tipping and add
stability. Strong 16 gauge tubular steel is capable
of supporting many, many times the weight of the
intended individual and will not burn, cause
injury by splintering or fall apart. Telescoping
joints on frame are designed like those on industrial
scaffolding. Almost any university-supplied twin
mattress and bed springs can be facilitated atop
STURDI-BOY's solid steel bed support straps.
Some people prefer inexpensive 3/8" particle
board instead of springs. Heavy-duty locking cable-
ties secure bed springs to frame. Structural cross-
bars on ends of frame are evenly spaced to be used
as climbing rungs, making need for optional
ladder unnecessary for most people.

LoftTM, a Side Rail and Pillow Guard are available for $12.95 each plus tax and
shipping, and Ladder for $26.95 plus tax and shipping. Side Rail makes a STURDI-
BOY even safer, Pillow Guard keeps pillow from falling to the floor, and the ladder
with closely spaced rungs makes the loft for some people easier to climb into. Pillow
Guard and Side Rail are less expensive to buy and ship if bought in pairs ($22.95
