BEST SHOE STORE:
Mast's/ Van Boven
A tie between Van Boven, famous for their high
prices and interesting selection, and Mast, with the
widest high heel selection on earth.
BEST GROCERY: Kroger
Ann Arbor students have more than one reason to
cheer this Eastern Michigan institution on. Not only
does Kroger have the cheapest food prices in town (Have
you been to the Co-op on Packard lately?), but it's also
open 24-hours for all you shoppers who like to get
stoned and pick up groceries at 3 am.

heavier drinkers. Marshall's hasn't
had a liquor license all year.
BEST SHOE STORE
"Who can afford shoes?" one reader
wanted to know. It was probably
their buddy who wrote in the Salva-
tion Army.

"frat parties." Great romantics you
are not.
BEST PLACE TO TAKE A
FIRST DATE
Once again, we see that with all
the truly original romantics, we are
shocked that there seems to be so
little dating on campus. "The cene-
tery" received three votes, as did
"home," while "hockey game,"
miniature golf," and, yes even the
"UGLi" received a vote a piece.

BEST CONVENIENCE STORE:
Stop-N-Go
It's true that Stop-N-Go is convenient all hours of the
night and day, so its victory in this category is logical,
but seriously folks...

BEST BIRTH CON
METHOD
Naturally, this category
with funny responses rang
"cheap cologne" to "my lo4
plastic baggie" and, of c
classic "sock."

"Most ambitious group of ass-
M E E T holes: Ann Arbor Police." A humor-
ous and witty way to phrase this
sentiment.

This was truly an interesting and
wide ranging category of responses. a
few of our favorites were: "smell:
week old tobacco spit, trend: ce-
ment," and "attitude: greeks."
WHAT DO YOU LIKE
ABOUT THE DAILY?
"It's energy," "the colors," and,
best of all, "it's avocado flavor,"
were a few of the responses we liked
the most.
WHAT DO YOu DISLIKE
ABOUT THE DAILY?
"It's terrifying," "it's not required,"
and "it sticks to your teeth" were

PAUL G ROCHOWSKI -
WHO ARE YOU?
We don't know what you are, but
you got a dozen or more votes for
"best cookie store" as well as show-
ing up in the "best late night eats,"
and "best excuse for not studying"
("eating Paul Grochowski's cookies")
categories. We applaud your success
and request a sample. U
