Best record store
Schoolkid's
Schoolkids prefer schoolkids prefer
schoolkids. Amazing selection (some
even on - blush - virgin vinyl). An ex-
cellent selection of record care produc-
ts and foreign ip's, too. If it's circular
and has grooves it's here.
Best realtor
No winner
No one candidate had more than
four votes, so we're throwing out the
category.
Best bar bargain
Dooley's, esp. Dime Beer Night
In a place like this where inebriation

is a way of life for so many, it's impor-
tant to find a place to fill your glass
without draining your pocket. Dooley's
is such a place. For the serious drinker,
Dime Beer night is the way to go.
Best bar atmosphere
Charley's and Old Town (tie)
Those who know these two places
may be surprised that they had not won
"oddest couple." Charley's and Old
Town do represent two totally different
types of atmosphere for entirely dif-
ferent moods. Two of the best from op-
posite ends of Ann Arbor.'

Best view
7th floor, Graduate Library
There are some advantages to living
where the word "mountain" isn't in the
dictionary. From this perch you can see
most of the state (or so it seems).

Ugliest dorm
South Quad
We realize that within that monumen-
tal ugly is a bunch of great folks, but the
building itself is ugggly.
Best place to study
Who knows
Why does everyone just smile coyly
when we ask that question?

Best desserts
The Patisserie

N
C

2nd place - Gandy Dancer for their
rum peaches
3rd place - Rabbi Guido's for their
chocolate cheesecake
Ah, the Patisserie (formerly Ian's
Patisserie). This place is a chocolate

lover's paradise. The gateau Nancy is
enough to satiate even the most avid
chocoholic. Great coffee tops off a
couple dozen great desserts. Guido's
cheesecake is good, but $2.50 a slice?
