Best florist
Normandie
There's a lot to be said for centrality.
Especially in the flower business,
where it's real easy to remember that
corsage 15 minutes before the pledge
formal. And how about mom's birth-
day. Normandile's fresh cut flower
arrangements are always fresh
looking. Their prices are low enough
even for the most flower-shy. Jessie, the
florist at Louise's, is also a great
resource for those unfamiliar with
flower-lingo or just confused with what
to get.

Best jewelry store
Schlanderer's
Located on S. University; Schlanderer's
is close to campus and responsive to the
large number of student customers
served. They don't specialize in the or-
nate or impractical; just good looking,
fashionable jewelry.
Best tailor
Bruno, at Van Boven
Nothing fancy, nothing expensive,
Bruno will do your repairs and mending
fast and reliably. The convenience
makes Bruno the tops for tailors.

Best bookstore
Border's
It's a rather interesting phenomenon
when one entry gets four times as many
votes as its nearest competitor. Maybe
it's the great framing - department.
Maybe it's the variety of poster art.
Maybe it's the best selection of popular
reading in town. Clearly the best.
Best dry cleaners

Best bar party
Dooley's St. Patrick's Day
After drinking steadily from 8 a.m.
until around 11 p.m., it's really a unique
experience to see the looks people give
you. The green beer is a nice change,
too.

Go to the midnight showing of

State Theater.
Worst ticketed lot
Ann Arbor
Where do they find those ladies who
hand out tickets all day; they must make
them go through bitchiness training
before putting them out on the streets.
So, don't leave your cars unattended, or
you're liable to be $5 deeper in debt.
