Girl raped

A 16-year-old girl was raped early
Sunday morning in a car near Huron
Parkway and Fuller. The girl was a
passenger in the car with three male
acquaintances, one of whom raped her,
police said. Police are conducting a
follow-up investigation.
Break-in at Helen Newberry
A 29-year-old Detroit man was
arrested Monday at about 5 p.m. forg
breaking and entering at Helen
Newberry Hall. A resident noticed the
man in one of the rooms, called police,
and gave a description of him. Police
arrested the man near State and N.
University with several items of
clothing and money in a bag.
