Club member Paul Alvik shows that sailing can also be a
spectator sport.

By day a mild-mannered Professor of Mathematics, George Pirinian transforms into a sea-
soned maritime salt on weekends. Here he scowls at the arrangement of his jib sail rigging.

JOIN THE SAILING CLUB.
Meetings are held each Thurs-
day evening at 7:45 in rm. 311,
West Engineering. The initial
$20 fee pays for instruction and
use of all the club's facilities
including their 14 470-Lazer sail
boats during the spring/sum-
mer term.
