Once upon a time a young man boulght three Cinema II tickets to the nine o'clock
showing of The Thomas Head Affair, at seven o'clock, Did he thus, thinking naively
that he had reserved two seats for his friends, and of course one for Ihimself for the
nine o'clock show. What was his surprise upon arriving at Auditoriunm A in Angell
Hall, to find that all the seats were sold, including his own and those of his friends.
The explanation forthcoming from the Ettahlishment gave this astonished young
mlan to know that at five minutes after the hoar all the unoccupied seats are counted
and sold to those waiting outside, He was refunded his money and admonished to he
m~ore punctulal in the future, "What shrewd husinessmen," mased the young man
as hie went his way with his two friends, scratching Ihis croan; "if we had not come
here they would have made three more dollars than they had seats and mayhe even
"What wouild Shakespeare hate thought of all this?" asked one friend.
"He prohahly would say that we have heen shrewed," giggled the young lady friend.,
"Perhaps," replied the young man, still niusing, "hut I think I would say that we've
heen screwed."
After soome thought and chatter the trio finally arrived at the Architectutre Auditorium
twenty minutes late for the show, which was very good, and lived happily over after
so this very day, having decided not to heconme dangling participators in a run-on
sentence, prisoners of the Establishment.
