that time, Greene's has proved that their work is
good quality with no fancy padding or extras that
tend to increase your dry cleaning bills. Honest and
straight-forward, Greene's is here to serve-you. For

As peer advisers we have
learned that many gay people
will not take their problems to
professional counselors, justly
fearing that many of these coun-
selors will be biased against gay-
ness and gay behavior.

Many of these troubled gay
people seek our help by phone,
by mail, and in person. They

for the use of all interested per-
sons.
Yet within the University, gay
people have many unmet needs.
For example, we need a Gy
Student Center in which gay
people can gather as a commun-
ity andaeLesbian Resource Cen-
ter to help lesbian groups edu-
cate and organize.
We need a Gay Studies Pro-
gram so that the present class-
room definition of gay people as
"clinical cases" can be changed
to a view of us as an oppressed
minority within a society in
which the greater share of pow-
er rests with white heterosexual
men.
WE URGE ANYONE interest-
ed in our program to get in touch
with us in room 325 of the Mich-
igan Union's south wing. Drop
by, write, or call 763-4186 days or

We try to help these people de-.

their feelings. If need be, we re-
fer them to .professional coun-

groups, but co-workers with their

We are often asked for infor-

about other gay groups and
