Dear Bookworms, Bibliophiles,
Browers, and Bookpeople,
America's most amazing bookshop just opened in Ann Arbor. We have
been growing viser every year and now we have done it. One world traveler
said there isn't anything comparable anywhere, including New York City.
We take that humbly, saying that there probably is, though we don't know
where. We have always carried the largest selection around but didn't have
the space to make the books easily available. Now we do-about four
time as much space plus thousands of wonderful books that probably have
never visited Ann Arbor.
The first floor is stocked new books, with our traditional 10% discount of
hardbacks. The mezzanine, probably christened the Clearing House, will be 4
a treasure for the book bargain hunter. The second floor we hope will grow
into the liveliest gallery of the arts in town, with posters, prints, art calen-
