Chudwin, will oversee the final
writing and display of news articles
appearing in each issue.
In addition Lempert and Weinerj
will supervise the training of new
reporters and help coordinate the
reportorial staff in the gathering
of news.
Directing the arts page of The
Daily will be Anita Crone, a Resi-
dential College literature major
from Pontiac. As arts editor,
Crone will coordinate the coverage
of theater and movie openings, and
the soliciting of record reviews and
other articles involving the arts in
Ann Arbor.

The editorial staff appointments
were made by the outgoing senior
editors on Jan. 31. A week later,
the senior business managers ap-
pointed their successors.
Serving as advertising manager
will be Richard Radcliffe, a busi-
ness administration major from
Plymouth. Radcliffe will supervise
the business staff's advertising de-
partments -- classifieds, display,
layout, and billing.
Suzanne Boschan, a history art
major from Huntington Woods,
was - appointed sales manager.
Boschan will supervise the sales
and promotion department, concen-
trating on attracting new advertis-
ers to The Daily.
Appointed finance manager was
John Sommers, an industrial en-
gineering major from Lake Forest,
Ill. Sommers will issue disburse-
ments to pay bills and salaries, and
determine whether to give credit
to an advertiser who requests ad-
ditional time for payment.
Directing the circulation depart-
ment will be Andy Golding, a jour-
nalism major from Roslyn, N.Y.
Golding will coordinate subscrip-
tions. delivery of The Daily each
morning. makeup of the various
routes, and handle complaints from
subscribers.
Appointed personnel director of
the business staff was Janet Engi,
an elementary education major
from Morristown, N.J. Engl will
supervise the recruitment and
training of new members of the
business staff.
All students presently residing in the residence halls must
participate in the reapplication process. Materials on the
procedures relating to priorities and methods to be util-
ized in selecting rooms for the 1971-1972 academic year
will be made available to students before the Spring
Recess.
Fall applications will be made available in early April for stu-
dents who are presently enrolled at the University and living
off-cam pus.
