Y PSILANTI. SURE, you think, I'll
never get to go there, but these
days, this old town, rich in tradition and
beauty, is more accessible than ever for
.the vacationing student looking for new
and exciting travel possibilities.
In response to the budget Laker Air-
ways discount flights to Europe, the
Greyhound bus company has held its
one-way fare to Ypsilanti (directly
from the Michigan Union) to under $2,
affording the prudent spender a whop-
ping discount before the holiday is even
underway.
Once one arrives at the quaintly
small downtown bus station, then the
true advantages begin to manifest
themselves. What a fool you were to
think of wasting a wad on Europe when
something better, yes, better, was right
national centers of Greek revival
residential architecture. Not only that,
but the Historical Museum, jammed to
the doors each summer with tourists
like you, has had several rooms
developed to represent 'a home of the
Victorian period.
M ONUMENTS? Ypsi has 'em. Try
the infanious city water tower,
designated as a National Water Lan-
dmark by the American Waterworks
Association, and if you think Amster-
dam has one, you can guess again.
Perhaps you are one of those insuf-
ferable art buffs? Hanker no more to
grace the portals of the Louvre in Paris
when the Still Art Gallery is only spit-
ting distance from the Sesquicentennial
Hall where you can spend many en-
chanted afternoons.

What else can you do in Europe? Eat
