for the operation of the committee:
" The committee wil determine, spe-
cific criticism and.. problems relating to
the present driving regulations.
Where problems exist the committee
will determine solutions in the form
of specific changes, additions, or de-
letions from the Code.
The committee will bring recommen-
dations for specific changes to the
Council with a. rationale that takes
into consideration student needs and,
desires as well as administrative atti-
tudes toward. the present regulations.
The committee resolutions will also
be presented to Joint Judiciary and
the Gtraduate -Student Council for con-
sideration by these bodies before final
action on these resolutions is taken by
SC.
Approved a motion allocating $2,500
to Student Book Exchange to be used-
as advance payments to students de-
positing used textbooks for sale
through the Exchange. Advance pay-
ments ishall .not exceed $12.50 or 7i5 per
cent of the estimated value of the
books submitted, whichever is less. Tlie
advance payment shall be deducted
from any further payment due a;sell-
er, and shall be repaid to the Ex-
change before the return of any un-
sold books deposited by him. The al-
location shall be returned to Student
Gtovernment. Council by March 21.r
