MIAMI (AP)-The University of Miami
clamped down on the Kissometer last
week. The kissometer is a gadget de-
signed to measure the power of a
guess. The students however may test
the machine only with handshakes.
The kissometer is rigged with flash-
ing lights and ringing bells. The
lowest quality kiss flashes a sign
that says 'Dead Fish;' the hottest
brings a 'wow' and rings the bell. The
man and the woman hold an elec-
tronically charged probe in their
hands. It sends a small amount of
current through their bodies. When
their lips meet, the circuit is com-
pleted. P19
