A new store is opening in Ann
Arbor this Saturday, February 22.
Pigments of the Imagination is its
name and it sells men's and wo-
men's clothes, many of them
handmade and designed by the
owner, Sarah Mahler '67. Also in-
cluded in the store located at 311
East Liberty is a head shop with
psychedelic goodies for the ser-
ious and the curious, and an as-
sortment of underoround oubli-
freshments, rock and roll stars,
magic performed, and free things
given away by free spirits.
"Pigments of the Imagination
is not just a store where a sales
person dispenses with you," ex-
plains Miss Mahler. "Rather it is
a showcase for new ideas and ways
of living. The shop is set up for
browsing, reading, cnd talking. I
hope that it will evolve into an
outlet for creativity and love."
