THIS FALL, Alka-Seltzer is going to
embark on a new advertising cam-
paign which will feature real college
people in real campus situations. No,
not testimonials about the product,
but stories aboutthe common man's
moments of frustration - like the
soldier that was told by the Army a
year ago to go home and await
further orders: he's been waiting ever
since. Or the guy who built a boat
in his basement only to discover that
the boat was toobig to get through
the brasement door.
Alka-Seltzer believes there are hundreds
of situations like this every day on
your campus. They'd like to select
the outstanding ones as Alka-Seltz-
er's "Case of the Month," every
month . . . and reward the subject
with a case of Alka-Seltzer.
Now, here's what Alka-Seltzer plans to
do on campus: get 'Case of the
Month" stories from college news-
papers (only recent local cases about
students), select the best one, and
put it into a 600-line ad to be run in
college papers throughout the coun-
try. Of course, credit will be given
to the contributor and the material
cleared with those involved in the
"Case of the Month." The stories
should be warm, human episodes
fairly uncomplicated and in good
taste
If you have had such a situation, please
contact the Business Manager of The
Milchigan Daily. dF8

To the Editor:
Allow me to add my endorse-
ment to one of the four
landlords you cited in your
article on the problem of
student rents.
Mr. Dennis Dahlmann was my
landlord last year, and how;
I wish he were again this
year. I found him fair and
jequitable in every way. The
association with him and his
staff was most enjoyable.
