to get athlete nd popular singers to do public service an-
nou ncements on respect.
However, it is also working on a grass roots level. It encour
ages block clubs and community organizations to start rvice
proje showing respect for the n ighborhood end to get young
people involved. It encourages teach 1 to empha ize areas in
their subjects that involve r spect. "We are not asking teach
ers to add anything new to th urriculum, "he aid, "just to
highlight ar in their course which inh r ntly deal with
respect."
