Two of TV's biggest Black guns have united for a film
entitled, "Bad Boys". And indeed, the boys-Martin-Lawrence &
"Fresh Prince" Will Smith-are bad. "Bad Boys" is the story of
an odd couple of Miami cops. One, your typical playboy persona,
complete with Porsche. The other is married with three kids.
The action begins when an undercover operation to recover
$ 100 million in stolen heroin forces them to switch places,
identities and beds, leading to a crazed mixture of bad guys,
call girls, potty training, a beautiful and seductive witness and
one very angry wife. Theresa Randall (of "Sugar Hill" and
"Beverly Hills Cop 3" fame) co-stars.
"Bad Boys" is the project for which Lawrence short-circuited
his much-anticipated summer tour. The film marks the third
feature for Smith, who won rave reviews for his role in the
highly-acclaimed, "Six Degrees of Separation".
The movie, now being shot on location in Miami, is slated for

- Speaking of bad boy ,W ley Snipe was slapped with
six months probation, a $500 fine and 80 hours of community
service for leading Florida poli on a high speed cha . Snipes
pleaded "no contest" and is back at work on the set of "To Wong
Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Neuimar", in which he plays
. a drag queen. But clearly, action is more his forte.
The actor is said to be negotiating a deal for the development
of a film, entitled "Black Ice", which he would coproduce
through his own film company, Amen Ra Films. In it, he would
playa secret agent,- kind of a Black James Bond. He'll play
"The Black Panther" in anoth r high-priority project in devel
opment, straight out of the Marvel Comics kingdom. And he's
been offered the lead in "Taking Liberty" , where he'd play an
astronaut seeking to recover an embattled pace shuttle from
terrorists.
