contest finals.
Sylvia" who's considered by her �om, Lod�a, as being .an
"outgoing and witty person," lists spelling, Enghsh �n.d . du�g
as her favorite subjects in school and says that participating 10
gymnastics and dance are her favorite after-school activities.
As a matter of fact she njoy dancing so much that he is

studying three forms of dance - jazz, tap and ballet.
While many young girl Sylvia' age hav not given much
thought toward what they would like to do when they get older,
Sylvia.says that h will probably me a teacher.

JACKSON, MI . - The Black Jackson, Mississippi high
school principal who lost his job because he allowed students
to say prayers over the school intercom was reinstated last
w k. Bishop Knox became the center of a national controversy
last November when the school board ruled that the reading of
prayers violated the U.S. Supreme Court ban on organized
prayer in public schools.
