PIANO MASTER CLASS - Metro
Detrolters will have a special oppor­
tunity to end a plano master class
by Stelnway artist Dr. Arthur Greene
at the Center for Creative Studies-In­
stitute of Music and Dance. Greene,
U of M School of Music faculty mem­
ber and International competition win­
ner, will teach a master class from
2:30-4pm In the Boughton Audito­
rium, 200 E. Kirby, Detroit. Admission

QUILTING WORKSHOP - The De­
troit Historical Museum offers a two
week quilting workshop where partici­
pants develop their own quilts on
March 19 and 26 from 10:30am -

BOWLING BONANZA - The fifth
annual Alzheimer's Assoc. - Detroit
Area Chapter's Bowling Bonanza will
be held at the West Bloomfield Lanes.
This year's fun-filled event has two
seeetcne, '11 am and 2:30pm with
bowlers competing for a variety of
prize . Bowlers of all ages and skills
re Invited to participate. A $8 regis­
tration fee Includes bowling and
lunch. a minimum of $25 In pledges

benefit the family and patient services

RICHARD MAYHEW - One of
America's leading painters, will vlslt
Detroit from March 20-May 14 for lec­
tures, an exhibition and other events.
Richard Mayhew Is an Internationally
known artist who has had more than
30 solo exhibitions and 75 group ex­
hibitions of his paintings. Richard
Mayhew paints the American land­
scape, creating works that convey the
experience of a place rather than Its
