The City of Bent>n Harbor, Michigan will receive
sea d bids for the above reference project In the
CIty Commission Chambers, City Hall, 200 East
Wall Street, Ben on Harbor, Michigan, at 9:30 a.m.
(local t m e) on vem ber 5, 1 3, at which tim e and
place all bids w II be op ned and read aloud. Arfo/
bids reoelved art designated time will be reo
turned unopened.
The Pro ct will Inclu t following work Items:
bltum Inous paving, storm sewer rehabilitation, con­
crete curb nd gut1er replaoement. tree and stump
removal, and sldewa replaoement. The wot1< sites
will be located at several streets within the City of
Benton Harbor.
Bids must be submltt d on the forms provided In the
Blddfng package, which Is avallab In the Bent>n
Harb � City Clet1<'s office. Each Bid shall be accom­
panled t1t a Certified Check or a Bid Bond by a
reoognlzed sur ty oornpary In the amount of five
percent (5%) of the Bid, payab to the City of Bent>n
Harbor AS surety for acoep nee of the Contract.
The successful Contractor will be required to provide
a 100% Performance Bond and a '100% Laborand
Material Payment Bond. .
Attention Is called t> the fect that not less than the
minimum salaries and wages as set forth In the
Contract Documents must be paid. The Contractor
must ensure that omployees and applicants for ern­
ployment are not dlscrlmlna d against because of
raoe, color, religion, sex, or national origin, In accord­
