during a program at Detroit's Chapter
20-1 of the National Quartet Conven
tion.
The group w approximatel y 24
years old and ince the founding had
been members of the National Quartet
Convention (founded by R.H. Harri
approximately 50 years ago) and
Chapter 20-l.
The retiring m mbers of the group
were Zephi Latimore, 81, Norma
Hall, 77, Gen va Rhodes, 76 and
Janie Widman, 50�
Thr ugh the years the Go<:. el
Sounds had been a faithful group who
attended the retirement program said.
