Anniversary
Greater Grace Temple of
the Apostolic Faith, located on
Schaefer at 7 Mile in Detroit,
is celebrating its 30th Pastoral
Anniversary. For the next
month, a variety of activities
are planned in conjunction
with the Greater Grace Chris­
tian Temple Schools .:

Rededication Program is
scheduled for Sunday, April
26 at 3:30 p.m. Students' work
will be on display and staff
wlll be available to answer
questions.
Friday and Saturday, May
8 and 9, are "Come Dine with
Us" days. Home-cooked

funds for the Greater Grace
Temple Schools Enrichment
Program.
The annual ehooJ concert,
featuring students from the
Performing Arts Department,
will take place Thursday, May

Palm
Sunday
tradition
For the ninth consecutive
year, thousands of Detrolters
will attend the "King of Kings
Palm Sunday Gospel Service,"
April 12, 1992 at 4PM at The
Masonic Temple.
This year Detroiters will be
inspired by the mighty voices
of the Mass Choir of Second
Ebenezer Baptist Church,
directed by the church's 15-
year paster, Rev. Edgar Vann.
Rev. Vann presently is a mem­
ber of the Council of Baptist
Pastors and has received na­
tional recognition as musical
director for the "Mandela
Choir" in 1990 and the annual
"King Celebration" at Cobo
Hall with the 1,000 Voice
Choir.
Celebration will al 0 fea­
ture the joyous singing of 1992
Stellar Award Winner and
former Michigan resident
Rance Allen. Allen made an
astounding comeback into the
gospel music industry with his
hi� "I Belong To You," which
also turned him into a cross­
over hit.

Marathon for the Homeless· at JOj Rd Missionary Baptist Church,
