In blender container, combine
milk, pudding mix, poppy eed and
1 teaspoon lemon peel. Cover and
proce on HIGH until pudding i
moi tened. Pour into crusts and
chill. Ju t before erving, combine
whipped topping and remaining
lemon peel. Divide over pies and
top with additional grated lemon
peel, if de ired. Serve immedi­

BANANAS FOSTER PIE
1 R ady-Crust Graham
Cracker pi crust
2 quarts vanilla, almo'nd
praline or butter pecan Ice
cream,80ftened
1/4 cup butter .
1/2 cup pack d brown
ugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinn mon
6 m dium b nana.,
peeled and allc d
Spread ice cream over pie crust.
Freeze until firm. Just before serv­
ing, melt butter in a large skillet.
Stir in brown ugar, cinnamon and
rum. Add bananas and heat
through. To serve; cut pie and top
individual servings with a spoonful
of warm bananas and sauce. Serve
immediately. Makes 12 servings.

Prepare pudding according to
package directions using 1 1/2 cup
milk, nutmeg and sherry wine. cool
to room temperature. Fold in rice,
raisins and 1 cup whipped topping.
Spoon into pie crust.
Chill at least 2-3 hours. Garnish
with dollops of whipped topping
and chocolate curls, if desired.
Makes 8 servings.

medium sweet potatoes or yams (about 4 pounds)
cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
cup granulated sugar .
cup firmly packed brown sugar
teaspoon salt
teaspoon nuaneg
eggs, well beaten
cup milk. '
tablespoon vanilla
unbaked 9 .. inch Classic Crisco Single Crusts
1. For filling, boil sweet potatoes until tender. Peel and mash.
2. Heat oven to 350°F.
3. Combine butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, slalt and
nutmeg in large bowl Beat at medium speed of e �triC m��
until creamy. Beat in sweet potatoes, until well mixed, Beat l�
eggs. Beat in milk and vanilla slowly. Spoon into 3 unbaked pie
shells, using about 4 cups filling per shell
4. Bake at 350°F for 50 to 69 minutes or until set. Cool to room
temperature before serving. Store in refrigerator.

Variation: Bake filling as a pudding in greased 12� X 8� X ¥4 .. inch
glass baking dish. Bake for about one hour or until set. Sprinkle
with 2 cup miniature marshmallows. Return to oven 5 to ,10
minutes or until marahmallowa are lighdy browned.
