REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS BY
CITY OF DETROIT HOSPITAL
FINANCE A.UTHORITY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN th a public

The hearing shall con der the approval by
the City of Highland Park of the Issuance by th
CIty of Detroit Hospital Finance Authority (the
'Authortty") of Ita HospItal Facilitl Revenue
Aef\.ndlng Bond ,Serf 1991 (Michigan H alth
Care Corporation Project), (the "Bonds")
pursuant to Act No. 38 of the Michigan Public
Acta of 1969, amended. The Bonds will be
limited obUgatJon of the Authority payable solely
from 'Revenues" as defined In the Trust
IndentU'e between t Authority lind Bank One
Tru Company, N.A., of Columbus. Ohio, as
Trustee for the bondhold . The Borrowers will
be Michigan Health C re Corporation ("MHCC'),
Mlohlgan Ostegpathlo Medloa. Center, Ino.
('MOMC"), Aurora Corporation ('Aurora"), and
M. W. Montgomery Hospital, all of which are
Mlohigan non-profit corporations. The maximum
princl� amount of the Bonds will be ninety three
mll?1on one hundred sixty-five thousand dollars
($93,165,000}. In no event will the Bonds be
payable by the City of Highland Park, Its
taxpayers, or the Authority.
Approximately $82,520,240 of the proceeds
of the Bonds will be expended to refund and
defease the outstanding principal amount of the
City of Highland Park Ho pit I Finance
Authortty's bonds Issued In 1986, the proceeds
of which were used to (I) aoqulre and equip nine
medloal clinics, Including a 4000 square foot
. medloal ollnlc located at 1 5885 Woodward
Avenue, Highland Park, Michigan 48� 92 on
which approximately $2,588,00 of the 1986 bond
prooeeds were expended; (ii) cC?nstruct.
renovate and equip other hospital facilities In
other Jurisdiction ; (III) advance refund and
defease the outstanding principal amount of the
City of Highland Park Hospital Finance
Authorlty's bonds Issued In 1983 to finance or
reimburse MIChigan Osteopathic Medical
Center, lno. ("MOMC,) for the construction by
MOMC In the City of Detroit of its Medical
Surgical Hospltallooated at 2700 Martin Luther
King, Jr. Boulevard and the Child and Youth
Mental Health Hospital located at 3737
Humboldt; and (Iv) to advance refund and
defease the City of Highland Park Hospital
Finance Authority's bonds Issued In � 985 to
finance the renovation and equipping of the adult
mental health facility located at 5435 Woodf./ard
Av nue In Detroit.
Up to a maximum of $1,844,260 of Bond
proceeds wlll be expended for Issurance
expenses such 88 accountant's verification,
rating agency fees, underwriter's discount,
printing, counsel fees, Trust 's fees and issuer
fees; approximately $7,"848,500 will be
expended for the funding of a debt service
reeerve fund for the BoJKt ; and tWPfoxlmately
$952,000 will be expended for original Issue
dleoount on the Bonds.
