tend St. Benedict's Church's
Lemon Festival this Saturday
and Sunday, May 18-19.
When you get there you'll
find food, games, a rummage
salei and a raffle with a grand
prize of $1,500.
�ccording to St. Benedict's
Secretary Vivian Talbert, the
an)1Ual event is part of their'
c0!6munity outreach and a
fuodraiser for the church.

�albert said the church is
notJl separate entity within the
community and that all are wel­
come.
She indicated people
thought you had to be white,
rich or Catholic to attend the
festival. She said this is not
true saying she wasn't rich or
whit� but that she is a Catholic.
The festivities will run from
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the rum­
mage sale will run from 10 a.m.
to 3 p.m. and there will be a
'pancake breakfast Sunday.
Talbert says for everyone to
come out to worship and have
fun together.

Bigin' Origin I joined forces to
show Michigan ide of the

seen before.

Show.
Franklin Rowe. of Rowe In­
ternational, ba years of ex­
perience nd accrediation in the
fashion and garment industry
and has created quality high
fashions for such notables as
Vocalist Regina Bell and Super­
star Grace Jane.
