City Manager Steve
Manning received approval
from the Patrolman'S Union to
de ignate new po i tions and to
pay the two trainees at an
annual rate of $15.200 while
they re in training. The two.
trainees will not receive
fringe benefits except for
ociat security, and if injured
the City will cover them
through Wor er
Compe ation.
The pay rate would apply
from their entry into the
c demy until they graduate
and begin work in the Police
Department.

Saturday. August 18, with the
walk beginning at 5:00 p.m.,

Their theme will be, "MAD
Mom Marching In Defen e of
Our Children."
Entertainment will be
provided by a local group.

$22.50 per hour for the
amount of $12,960 and Evan
LuDuc 5.00 per hour for the
amount of $12,960 to
reconstruct the Community
Development Department.
All operations of the City'S
Community Development
Program ended March 30 of
