City Manager Steve Manning received approval from the Patrolman'S Union to de ignate new po i tions and to pay the two trainees at an annual rate of $15.200 while they re in training. The two. trainees will not receive fringe benefits except for ociat security, and if injured the City will cover them through Wor er Compe ation. The pay rate would apply from their entry into the c demy until they graduate and begin work in the Police Department.
