Wednesday, February 21.
Present for the DDA meet­
ing were, Director Aaron An­
thony, Chairman of .rbe Board,
Christopher Brooks, Kevin
Clement, Jim Cronk, William
Nichol, Dorothy Randolph,
Joyce Abrams and Bob Schul­
theis. Ab eru were, Mayor Wil­
liam Wolf, J. Gardener
Phillips. Louis Joseph, Bobby'
Jordan. Evan LuDuc and Char-
lene Burnette. .
During the DDA meeting,
the Board members voted to
approve a payment to the City
of Benton Harbor in the amount
of$162.518.15, with the under-
tanding that, DDA Director
Aaron Anthony or the Chair­
man, Christopher Brooks, get
someone to meet with the Ex­
ecutive Board to discuss the
matter.
Kevin Clements, chairman
of the Project Committee, said,
based upon a seminar he had
attended regarding DDA,
"there are some significant
questions that need to b ad­
dressed by the asse sor and the
governmental body," and he
would make a motion that the
Board table payments to the
city until further review by the
Executive Board.

Commerce and Benton Harbor Public' Library.

Sylvia Coleman, LMC director
of financial aid.
Coleman said the $750-per­
year scholarship is for a Benton
Harbor resident to attend Lake.
Michigan College during the
next academic year, beginning
in the-fall of 1990. The scholar­
ship is funded by a bequest left
to the College by Mrs. Madison,
who died in August of 1988. Mr.

dent Scholarship Committee
will hold its 6th Annual Fund
Raiser Dinner aturday, March
17, at the Benton Harbor High
School - Studen Commons.

Dinner at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $25.00 and can be
purchased from any committee

$17,000 in scholarships to
seventeen (17) Benton Harbor.
High School Studen since its
