Highland Park Focus
Blac Caucus Foundation keeps
hope alive

in 1987. The program was
designed to help identify
qualified Blac students who
need greater exposure to career
and leadership opportunities.
Interns are directly involved
with the legislative process per­
forming such tasks as research
and bill analysis, constituent
problem solving, They attend
legislative essions, public hear­
ings, and meetings with other
agenci s and government offi­
ciaIs.
Participant are selected on
a compe . tive basis and receive
a stipend of $500 following the
successful completion of their
internship.
