Miller; dear brother-in-law of Joyce
Miller, Robert and Kim Broner,
and James and Mimi Broner;
loving son-in-law of Lily and David
Broner. He was also survived by
many loving nieces, nephews,
cousins, friends and colleagues.
Interment was at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to Congregation Shaarey
Zedek, the Anti-Defamation
League or to a charity of one’s
choice. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

SHIRLEY SALEM, 94,
of West Bloomfield,
died Sept. 3, 2024.
She is survived by
her husband of 72
years, Benny Salem;
daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie
and Ken Gross, and Debra Salem;
son, Gary Salem; grandchildren,
Amy and Avishay Nachon, and
Jenny Gross and Shawn Achtman;
great-grandchildren, Ori and Romy
Nachon, Aden, Demi and Miley
Achtman; brother-in-law, Harry
Salem.
She was the loving sister of the
late Irwin Goldstein; the dear
sister-in-law of the late Flo Salem.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions

SANDY TOPPER, 77,
of West Bloomfield,
died Sept. 1, 2024.
He is survived by
his beloved wife, Cheri
Topper; daughters
and sons-in-law, Sarah and Eric
Gutman, Robyn and Brian Shapiro,
Leslee and Dave Caplan; son and
daughter-in-law, Michael and Eliza
(Curtis) Topper; grandchildren,
Riley, Sydney, Harriet, Sadie, Maya
and Joey; brother and sister-in-law,
Harry and Nancy Topper; sister
and brother-in-law, Carol and Ken
Gluckman; sisters-in-law; Ronna
(Kenny Whiteman) Katzman and
Gayle (Gary) Samuels; his dear dog,
Lola; many loving nieces, nephews,
other family members and friends.

Interment was held at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery
in Livonia. Contributions may be
made to Taproots at Camp Walden.
