DORENE LEVINE, 92, of
Commerce Township, died Sept. 1,
2024.
She is survived by her daughters
and son-in-law, Adele and Patrick
Wenn, Debra Levine, Jill Lowther;
grandchildren, Sean Wenn, Peter
(Shaziah) Wenn; brothers and sister-
in-law, Alvin Lewis and Ernest and
Audrey Lewis; many loving nieces,
nephews, other family members and
friends.
Dorene was the beloved wife of the
late Arnold Marvin Levine; mother
of the late Harold Levine; grand-
mother of the late Shay Wen; sister-
in-law of the late Norma Lewis.
Interment took place at B’nai
Israel Memorial Park Gardens
Cemetery in Novi. Contributions
may be made to Heart to Heart
Hospice Foundation. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.

PAUL D. LEVINE, 77,
of Commerce Township,
died Aug. 29, 2024.
He is survived by his
daughters and son-in-
law, Shayna and Jeff
Levin, Emily Levine; sons, Joey
(Darren Schillace) Levine, Jacob
Levine; grandchildren, Andrew and
Hannah Levin; sisters and brothers-
in-law, Debra and Jeff Tapper, and
Lisa and Andrew Barbas; many
loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Paul was the father of the late
Samuel Todd Levine.
Interment was held at Beth
El Memorial Park Cemetery in
Livonia. Contributions may be made
to the Samuel Todd Levine Baby
Book Fund at Temple Israel or St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

MATTHEW MILLER,
55, of Bloomfield Hills,
passed away on Aug. 21,
2024.
He was a proud
graduate of Cranbrook
Schools, the University of
Michigan; and he earned his J.D.
from Wayne State University.
During his time at U-M, he was
the first student to represent the
university in the College Jeopardy
Tournament.
For more than 25 years, Matt
concentrated his legal practice on
real estate litigation, representing
owners and managers of rental
property, and commercial and civil
litigation.
Matt was extremely passionate
about his volunteer commitments.
He was the current president of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, a past

chairman of the ADL Michigan
and was involved with many
professional organizations, most
importantly serving for many
years as the legislative chair for the
Property Management Association
of Michigan.
Matt had a love for learning
and education, always striving to
improve his knowledge base. He
loved history, politics and sports.
He enjoyed golf, poker, good
food, cooking and baking. But his
greatest joy was spending time
with his wife and sons, his large
extended family and his countless
friends.
Matt was the beloved husband
for 24 years of Stephanie Miller;
adoring and cherished father of
Alex Miller and Jacob Miller;
devoted son of Martin and the
late Beverly Miller; loving brother
