andom acts of
kindness occur daily
at Jewish Senior Life
of Metropolitan Detroit, but
they had an extra special
meaning at Fleischman
Residence on Nov. 13, World
Kindness Day.
Residents gathered
together and shared heartfelt
words of appreciation for
one another. Spearheaded
by Fleischman’s Life
Enrichment Coordinator
Jurgita Astanaskovski,
participants also designed
cards and wrote individual
messages expressing their
gratitude to the JSL staff and
volunteers, as well as to their
families. The messages of

hope, inspiration and love, in
addition to the kindness that
was spread, left residents and
staff feeling uplifted, inspired
and appreciated.
