died April 13, 2023.
She is survived
by her beloved

loving grandchildren, Zenah

She is survived

Samuels and Jenna Samuels;

and Beth Kahn, Michael and
Annette (Murzin) Kahn; sister-
in-law, Pamela (Jacob) David.

She was “Pepe” to Finn. She is
also survived by many other lov-
ing family members and friends.
Interment was at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery in Birmingham.

will be established over the next

HELENE BETH
SAWICKI, 64, of
Utica, died April 1,
2023.
She is survived by

Michael Sawicki and
Julie Megan Sawicki; siblings,
Sally (Leonard) Grossman, Linda
Hindman and Dr. Lawrence (Dr.
Marlene) Kosova; many loving
nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Helene was the beloved wife of
the late Jerry Sawicki.

Memorial Park Cemetery in

Mrs. Wachler was the
beloved wife of the late William
Zolkower and the late Norman
Wachler; loving sister of the
late Albert Rood, Eve Novik,
Dorothy Abramson and Betty
White. She was predeceased by
her parents, David Rood and
Sarah (Kraznopolsky) Rood; and
her beloved dog, Sookie.

MARCIA
“MARCY”
WEISBERG, 73, of
Waterford, died
April 19, 2023.
She was a success-
ful businesswoman
who began her career with
Marcy’s Mobile Groom-A-Pet in
a fully equipped dog grooming
van. Her first storefront location
was on Woodward Avenue in

Royal Oak and then on 14 Mile
Road in Birmingham.
She made many wonderful
long-term relationships with
friends of both the two-foot-
ed and four-footed varieties.
Nephews Peter Benjamin and
David remember having their
first jobs working for Aunt
Marcy in her store.
Marcia is survived by her
mother, Helen Weisberg; broth-
er and sister-in-law, Mark and
Leslie Weisberg of Boca Raton,
Fla.; sisters and brother-in-law,
Dorene Weisberg and Stephen
Sobczak of West Bloomfield,
Enid Weisberg Shear of
Farmington Hills; nieces and
nephews, Peter A. and Kattee
Shear, Jeremy Sobczak and
Lindsay Devine, Maximillian
and Alyssa Shear, Peter B.
Weisberg, David Weisberg;
great-nieces and great-neph-
ews, LilyBeth, Clara, Lincoln,
Jack, Miles; special and devoted
friend, Paula Skarsten; many
other loving family members
and friends.
Marcia was the loving
daughter of the late Bernard
Weisberg.
A funeral service was held
at Davidson/Hermelin Chapel
at Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Interment
took place at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

BARBARA
ZOLKOWER, 92, of
Rockville, Md., for-
merly of Detroit,
died April 15, 2023.
She is survived
by her children, Steven and Jan
Zolkower, Nadyne and Harold
Linton, and Galit and Bruce
Kutz; grandchildren, Ronald,
Gregory, Joshua, Jonathan,
Gabriel, Hallie; their spouses,
Stephanie Linton, Erin Linton
and Laura Ross; great-grandchil-
dren, Matthew, Ira, Jane, Henry
and Avi.
She was the loving wife for 74
years of the late Leon.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one’s choice.
