At Art Leaders Gallery,
33086 Northwestern,
West Bloomfield. The
Pop Art movement
made art accessible and
connectible to the masses,
influencing an entire
new wave of artistry and
expressionism. Art Leaders
Gallery celebrates these
iconic “characteristics”
in the series of works
by featured artists,
highlighting these bold
and vibrant colorways of
popular imagery and satire
that is Pop Art. Gallery

TOT SHABBAT

The Well is planning a
gathering at the Beverly
Hills Village Park, 18801
Beverly Road, Beverly
Hills, for Earth Day. After
our usual Tot Shabbat
song session, our friends
at Repair the World will
guide us in a family-
friendly planting activity
so we can spread some
wildflower seeds around
our homes. Tot Shabbats

are geared toward kiddos
ages 0-5(ish) and their
grownups. There is no
charge to attend, but
advance registration is
required so we can plan

NEW PLAYS
7 PM, APRIL 22
The spring edition of
Playwrights @ Work’s
bi-annual festival of
new works, “Shorts and
Sweets” will be presented
by the Birmingham
Players, 34660 Woodward,

is free. General seating
(no reserved seats).

The festival features six
different short plays,
which are all original
works by local authors and
members of Birmingham
Village Players. Sweets
will be provided after the
show during an afterglow
for the audience to meet
with the writers and actors.

PIANIST PERFORMS

Lise de la Salle will appear
at Varner Recital Hall,
Oakland University in
Rochester. Her program
starts with dance-inspired
music by Isaac Albéniz,
Franz Liszt and Alberto
Ginastera and ends with
Liszt’s monumental Sonata

MANAGING PAIN

People living with chronic
pain often find it interferes
with their ability to manage
their health and live life to
the fullest. Personal Action
Toward Health (PATH) is
an interactive program
on Zoom designed by
Stanford University to
provide the necessary
skills and tools to help
you manage chronic pain
and live a better life. This
six-week workshop is
conducted by certified
leaders. Open to adults
with chronic pain and
other health conditions
as well as caregivers.
