Community House
Partners with Quality
Kosher Catering

The Community House in
Birmingham recently finalized a
new wedding catering partnership
with Quality Kosher Catering.
In partnership, Quality Kosher
Catering will, as needed, provide
wedding guests at the Community
House with fully kosher selections
of hors d’oeuvres, salads, plated
entrees, starches, vegetables, etc.
Choices for entrees include
chicken scaloppini, lemon chicken
tosca, stuffed chicken medallions
and teriyaki salmon. For an addi-
tional charge, you can upgrade
to chicken Wellington, Spanish
seared paillard, rib eye filet
mignon and chateaubriand
All kosher flatware and china
are provided by Quality Kosher
Catering, and event managers,
chefs and staff from both the
Community House and Quality
Kosher Catering are on-site at the
event to properly execute kosher
catering needs.

Diamond’s Opens
in Royal Oak

Diamond’s Steak & Seafood, an Adam
Merkel Restaurant known for its filet mignon
tip skewers, opened a second location in
downtown Royal Oak on the first floor of
100 S. Main St.
The menu, designed by Merkel and culi-
nary director Chef Craig Myrand, features
many of the signature dishes guests know
and love from the original Howell estab-

lishment, like the signature steak salad,
“world-famous” filet mignon tips, pan-seared
sea scallops, the Diamond burger and home-
made carrot cake, as well as a number of
new dishes, like the wild flounder Meuniere,
blackened ahi tuna and Wagyu beef carpac-
cio. The beer and cocktail program feature
an expansive wine and cocktail list.
Diamond’s Steak & Seafood in Royal Oak

will also feature a weekend brunch buffet
every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-2
p.m., featuring made-to-order omelets, eggs
Benedict, carved ham, homemade waffles,
artisan breads and bagels, beef stroganoff,
sweet Cajun grilled chicken skewers, an
array of desserts and a Bloody Mary bar. ■
