Philosophy and Extended Purpose
of Orthodontics

Orthodontists should do much more than straighten people’s teeth. A mission
statement or objective that we ascribe to in our practice is as follows; Dr. Hersh,
Dr. Beattie, Dr. Isenberg along with their staff are committed to enhancing the
quality of life for those people who choose to come to us for their orthodontic
health care. This includes excellence in our orthodontic results. Equally as
important, we are committed to the creation of an environment that is open,
friendly, and a fun place to be. When someone leaves our offi ce, we want him or
her to feel better about themselves. We treat every child as if they were our own.
We are honored and privileged to be able to enhance one’s life.

It is important to remember that this applies to both children and adults even
though our practice is 85% children. We feel successful in our treatment when our
patient’s smile more, are happier and have greater confi dence and self-esteem.

A plaque was placed in our offi ce that reads “A hundred years from now it will not
matter what your bank account was, the sort of house you lived in, or the kind of
car driven…but the world may be a better place and different place because you
were important in the life of a child.” Our doctors and every team member live
by that statement and strive to provide the best orthodontic treatment and care,
while building relationships with our patients that last a lifetime.

We would love to meet you and your family! If you have any further
questions, please do not hesitate to contact Drs. Hersh, Beattie & Isenberg
at their state-of-the-art facilities in West Bloomfi eld/Commerce Township
at 2300 Haggerty Road, Suite 1160, 248-926-4100 and our newest location
in Waterford at 5133 Highland Road, 248-673-4100.
