Aaron Louis Rose (Lev) and Ryan Lawrence Rose (Lazar) will
share the bimah at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield on
Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, to lead the community, family and friends
for the occasion of their b’nai mitzvah. They are the loving sons
of Rachel and Scott Rose. Joining them in their celebration will
be very proud grandparents Martin Miller, and David and Sydney
Rose, many aunts, uncles and cousins. They are also grandsons of
the late Beverly Millery.
Aaron and Ryan attend Bloomfield Hills Middle School. This
September, they planned and held a dodgeball tournament to
raise money for the JDRF’s One Walk. They chose to help bring
awareness to their peers in honor of their friend who was recently
diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and were thrilled with the support
from family and friends.

n Aug. 18, 1968, Linda and Dennis
Kayes, now of Huntington Woods,
were married at Temple Emanu-El
in Oak Park. Exactly 50 years later and at
the same place, they celebrated their 50th
anniversary, surrounded by their dear chil-
dren and grandchildren, Dave Kayes, Kim
Loovis and James Kayes; Jeff, Nicole and
Sidney Kayes; and Debra, Miles and Edie
Halpern. Adding joy to their celebration
were many wonderful family and friends.
A luncheon at temple followed.
