For his most meaningful mitzvah
project, he gave his time to combat
hunger in our community by vol-
unteering at Temple Israel’s Fresh
Food Pantry and at Yad Ezra in
Berkley.

the engagement of their children
Lauren Mondry and Adam Blanck.
Lauren is the granddaughter of
Selma Bremen and the late Jerry
Bremen, Sheila Mondry and the late
Eugene Mondry. Adam is the grand-
son of Sadie Komisar and the late
Abe Komisar, Lorraine Blanck and
the late Martin Blanck.
Lauren, 28, received her under-
graduate degree from the University of Michigan Ford School of Public Policy.
She works in the political office of Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. Adam, 31,
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan Ross School
of Business and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. He
is chief of staff for his family business, Wallside Windows.
An August wedding is planned in northern Michigan. •
