FREDA HARTMAN
(nee Nash), 100, of
Farmington Hills,
died April 20, 2018.
She was a retired
paralegal. She
passed away peace-
fully of natural
Hartman c.1940
causes.
Mrs. Hartman
graduated magna cum laude from
Northern High School in 1933. She
was a recipient of a full scholarship
to Agnes Scott College.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Ilene and Victor
Abramson of Novi; nieces and neph-
ews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Hartman was the loving
mother of the late Ann Deborah
“Debbie” Hartman; dear sister and
sister-in-law of the late Rose and
the late Arthur Eckstein, the late
Dorothy and the late Abraham
Treitman, the late William and the
late Hilda Nash, the late Alexander
and the late Ethel Nash, the late
Abraham and the late Hermine
Nash.
Contributions may be made to

Services and interment were
held at Workmen’s Circle, I.D.L.

HAROLD LEVINE,
56, of Commerce
Township, died
April 18, 2018.
He is survived by
his parents, Arnold
and Dorene Levine;
sisters and broth-
Levine
ers-in-law, Adele
and Patrick Wenn,
Debra Levine, Jill and Russ Lowther;
nephews, Sean Wenn, Peter Wenn;
many other loving family members
and friends.
Mr. Levine was the uncle of the
late Shay Wenn.
Interment was held at B’nai Israel
Cemetery in Novi. Contributions

CELIA ROTH (née
Goose), 93, of West
Bloomfield, died
April 21, 2018, with
her two sons by her
side.
She was born in
Detroit, where she
Roth
lived most of her
life surrounded by
many friends and family, including
Florence, Judy, Karen, Paula and
Fritzi. At the end of her life she was
grateful for and fond of her caregiv-
ers, Susan and Ellie.
Mrs. Roth got tremendous enjoy-
ment from spending time with her
grandchildren and great-grandchil-
dren. She always enjoyed a good
laugh and made people feel special.
She was also a prolific knitter and an
expert mah jong and card player.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Sanford Roth and
Anne Stoddard, and Barry and Amy
Roth; grandchildren, Hannah Roth
and John Mattera, Matthew Roth,
Molly Roth and Olivia Roth; great-
grandchildren, Leon and Nina Roth
Mattera.
Mrs. Roth was predeceased by her
husband, Leonard; her siblings, Eva
Gerson, David Goose, Rose Chankin,
Shirley Katz, Nettie Beigal, Hyman
Goss, Max Goose, William Goose
and Anne Schonberg.
